My older brother, Eddie also went to Newlands primary.
He was born in 1947 so would have started in Newlands in about 1952. or in 1953.

Your big brother was a well groomed wee lad in these foties Brian. A shame he is not with us now...I think he might have chuckled to see his old class picture on the internet eh?
Aye ma Mammy did us proud. She was widowed when I was only 18 months old so she did not have it easy, but she always made sure we were well turned out. She always worked and had lots of different jobs like Dinner Lady, Caur Clippie, Green Lady, Shop Assistant etc.
Hiya did yous know Robert Stewart was in school about same time. My mums names Helen Stewart she also went to this school x
